Mortgages

As we all know the recession and the collapse of the property market has made it very difficult to obtain mortgage finance for buying or simply re mortgaging.  There are deals available however if you know where to look.  I have worked for 12 years or more with a firm of Independent Mortgage Brokers, Santi Financial, based in Central London  - if you might be looking for secured finance I suggest you contact them and consider signing up for their “email alerts” giving notice of new mortgage products and cheaper rate loans as soon as they come on to the market - call Anna Outhwaite or Patrick Sands on  0207 833 3349 or  email (click here)

Planning issues

In the current climate it may be easier to extend your existing property rather than buy a bigger one but you may need planning permission and it can be a minefield.  On the other hand your neighbour may be proposing a development on their land and you want to raise a valid objection.  On a larger scale perhaps you wish to undertake a property development but lack the knowledge or the skill to negotiate with the planning authority.  An old school friend of mine runs a very successful planning consultancy and can help you whatever your circumstances -

If  you came here looking for my former solicitors practice you will have discovered that it merged with Osmond & Osmond.  They are based in the City and provide a broader range of services than I was able to working on my  own  - contact Will Osmond or Sarah Cato - click logo

Music

I have been building cigar box guitars as a hobby and I must mention the Home Grown Music Collective which is a new organisation set up to encourage people to make and play their own instruments and to provide resources for them to do so - check it out:   (click logo)
